The Studio Monitor


Exhibition Room 4 displays equipment found in a 1940s recording studio.


One of the highlights is the Western Electric 757A, a studio monitor speaker produced in 1947.

 
The 757A is highly valued for its unrivaled accuracy and fidelity in sound reproduction.


This model is not only incredibly rare with only 10 sets available worldwide,


it continues to maintain its reputation as one of the finest monitor speakers ever made even though it is nearly 80 years old.
